SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

In keeping with the Stonewater Homes mission of being Nova Scotia's Premier Home Builder, the Sales Manager plays an essential leadership role to establish a clear vision to meet sales targets and ensure high customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of sales activities and the implementation of all marketing strategies. Working closely with the president of the company and all of our customers, the Sales Manager is a highly visible role and is responsible to ensure customer satisfaction and promote our brand at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: (but are not limited to)

· Completion and inspection of sales related documentation ensuring proper data entry and resolving problems
that require immediate attention.

· Working closely with clients throughout the building process to ensure customer satisfaction. (From home
design and pricing, during construction, and until the final walk through)

· Follow up with clients after closing to ensure customer satisfaction

· Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Sales Consultants.

· Develop, implement, and maintain a marketing plan to grow the company brand, penetrate new markets, and continue growth of our market share.

· Advise sales representatives on ways to improve their sales performance, customer satisfaction, and achieve target sales goals.

· Answer and handle all incoming inquiries to start the sales cycle and move it along and convert those inquiries to sales.

· Provide sales support to all sales consultants to ensure conversion of all inquiries to firm sales

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the sales team.

· Ensure that the sales process is properly documented and strictly adhered to at all sales offices and model homes.

· Responsible for continual market research and monitoring to ensure all sales records and market data is up to date for decision making purposes

· Work with the President to review market data, sales history, and inquiry activity to develop and maintain a sales and marketing strategy that is always effective and up to date.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· University or College education is preferred

· Real estate experience

· Minimum 3 years combined of sales, management, and marketing experience

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Superior planning, organizational, and sales management skills

· Highly motivated, passionate, and driven to succeed

· Strong editing and proofreading skills

· Proven effectiveness at building strong relationships with clients

· A proven track record of working closely with senior management in a highly-visible role

· Events planning experience for client-facing events

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software is mandatory

· Proficient with all social media platforms (facebook, twitter, youtube, etc.)

· Advanced knowledge of web-based programs and website management is mandatory

· Working knowledge of all multimedia formats and ability to work with software to create multimedia to be used on various platforms (youtube videos, slideshows, etc.)

· Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Possesses strong presentation and public speaking skills

· Strong interpersonal skills, confident, friendly, and a great sense of humour
